王祥玉

王祥玉

王祥玉,男,1974年1月出生于江苏宝应县,博士,南京大学天文系天体物理教授,美国国家航空航天局(NASA)Swift卫星理论计算组成员。

1995年7月于南京师范大学物理系获理论物理学士学位,1998年7月获南京师范大学物理系理论物理硕士学位,2001年9月获南京大学天文系天体物理博士学位。

《广义相对论》、《粒子天体物理》

研究领域

从事伽玛射线暴、高能宇宙线、超新星 shock breakout等课题的研究,取得的成果包括:1)系统研究了伽玛射线暴的高能辐射的起源; 2)提出超高能宇宙线起源的一种新模型-巨超新星模型;3)提出了超新星 shock breakout 的非热辐射的起源模型,并首次指出 SN2008D的X射线辐射是shock breakout辐射。

学术活动

参与Swift team的关于GRB060729的文章 (Grupe, Gronwall, Wang et al., 2007, ApJ, 662, 443)被 Pennsylvanian State University 和 NASA 以媒体形式对外报导。
