​至高无上的爱（美、英合拍影片《至高无上》插曲）简谱

  1977年美、英合拍影片《至高无上》是一部关于美国黑人拳王穆罕默德•阿里的传记故事片。影片主题曲最初由匹兹堡的一位爵士/流行吉他歌手乔吉•本森（1943-1943）首唱，当时在排行榜上只到达第24名。8年后，黑人女歌手惠特妮•休斯登（1963-2012）重新录唱了这首电影歌曲，收入她的第一张唱片专辑，立即登上排行榜第一名。这张专辑仅在美国就售出900万张，全世界共销售1300万张。

   这是一首艺术品位较高的流行歌曲。它不是一首男欢女爱的情歌，而是歌唱年长的一辈鼓励年幼的一辈自尊、自爱、自强、自立并寄予厚望的那种爱。

   琳达•克律德（1948-1986）写这首词的时候，正在和乳腺癌作斗争。她通过自己面对病魔的感受告诫孩子们要有勇气去接近生活中的一切困难。克律德去世时才36岁。

   麦克尔•梅瑟（1941-1941）是美国的流行音乐作曲家和制作人。

   惠特妮•休斯登的音域很宽，并且善唱，她把歌曲所需表达的激情发挥得淋漓尽致。正是她出色的演唱对这首歌曲的推广起了巨大的作用。
